Hermione Granger sighed as Ginny ran around the room, grinning and dancing in place. “I got it! I got it!” She said, cheerfully holding the small box over her head. “It took forever, but I got it!”

“Great, we’re all in suspense Ginny.” Hermione said, as she Cho and Fleur sat beside each other on the couch and waited for Ginny to calm down. “Just show us already.”

“Yes.” Fleur nodded, as she tried to smile in spite of her confusion. “Why did you call us all here?”

“I called you all here because I bought THIS!” Ginny said, as she placed the box down, and lifted the lid to reveal a small glittering object.

All four leaned in and gawked in amazement at a small tiara, its surface made of silver so shiny and glittery that it cast small sparks of light onto the ceiling. It was smooth and looked like woven roots of a tree, all curving together to a small point, a black onyx stone at the center of it, looking like the silver had actually grown out and around the stone. Ginny smiled and lifted it from the box so everyone could see, and smiling from ear to ear.

“It’s gorgeous!” Cho said, as she leaned closer to see.

“What is it?” Hermione asked, before looking from the tiara to Ginny. “And where did you get it?”

“I bought it off Hex-Bay, for a steal! I bought it right before the bid ended and the little goblin sent it right away,” She laughed, raising it above her head as if to put it on. “It’s an elvish crown of rank!” She said, taking on a snooty and refined smirk for effect.

“Elves would want something so pompous.” Hermione grunted, before Fleur elbowed her.

“Well it’s very pretty.” Fleur said, smiling at the gorgeous jewelry. “But… don’t those have magic powers?”

“Huh?” Ginny said, placing it on her head. “No. It’s just jewelry… isn’t it?” She said, but as soon as the crown touched her brow, the jewel in the front flashed brightly. “WHAT?” She gasped.

There was a flash of light, and Fleur who Ginny had been facing suddenly vanished, her clothing floating in place for a moment, before falling down to the ground. They landed with a loud thump, as something tangled inside Fleur’s garments began to squirm and thrash about. All three of the others backed away in surprise, mouths hanging open as they waited to see what had happened to Fleur.

“What was that?” Cho gasped, as she something inside of Fleur’s skirt suddenly snapped at her. “WHOAH!” She gasped, backing away.

“I knew this was a bad idea!” Hermione hissed.

“Oh shut up Hermione!” Ginny gasped; as everyone could see a growling and snarling face slowly appear from within the dress.

Out from within Fleur’s clothing crawled a large dog, a golden lab, which snapped and kicked in confusion to escape. Finally it managed to squirm free, standing slowly in front of the all, Fleur’s blue and frilly panties wrapped around its behind. It looked from Ginny to Hermione, seeming confused, before it slowly spoke with a cute French accent.

“Uh… why are you all so tall? Also, why am I itchy?” Fleur’s voice asked, coming from the dog as she began to involuntarily scratch her side. It was only then that she saw her foot, and froze, before she looked down and actually barked in surprise. “Wh-why am I a dog!>” She blurted, before everyone looked to Ginny.

Ginny began to grin sheepishly, then shrugged and looked to each one in turn. “Uh… I guess it does have magical powers.” She said, starting to laugh awkwardly.

“Why are you laughing?” Fleur said, before barking loudly. “I’m a dog now! This isn’t funny!” She said, before growling in frustration and scratching at her shoulder once more.

“At least… you didn’t turn into a frog.” Ginny chuckled, as Fleur actually growled at her.

“I told you not to play with magical items!” Hermione growled, as she reached for the crown. “How many times have I told you that!?”

“Stop!” Ginny shouted, trying to run, but Cho got in her way. “I paid for this, it’s mine!” She snapped, before the white flash went off, and Cho suddenly vanished in the flash.

Just as Fleur had done, her clothes flew down to the floor, landing with a dull puff as the air was squeezed out. Soon her clothing flattened out, and lay empty, as if she had completely vanished. It was only a moment later, when Cho’s clothing bounced forward, and out came a small black furry creature, landing at Hermione’s feet. It was a black rabbit, its ears sticking up above its head, and its tiny nose bobbing up and down. It looked around in confusion, then looking up to see Hermione and Ginny, before it noticed that even Fleur was now larger than itself.

“Why is Fleur bigger than me?” Cho asked from within the rabbit’s body, thumping one leg on the ground.

“Because you are a bunny.” Ginny said, as she giggled, covering her mouth with her hands.

“What?” Cho gasped, leaning back and examining her body. “I’m a bunny?” She said as she looked up at Fleur.

“This feels weird.” Cho said, leaping suddenly and crashing down on her side, her little nose bobbing up and down. “Ok… walking is hard now…” She muttered, as Fleur found herself staring down at her tiny friend. “Fleur… you’re making me nervous.

Fleur had to resist the urge to lunge at her smaller furry friend, shaking her head so she could focus. “Ok… so the crown seems to be changing us into forms, but based on what?”

“Probably rank… maybe in magic skill.” Hermione said, as she glanced over and tried to grab at the tiara. Ginny ducked her swipe and skittered sideways, putting a table between them both. “Ginny! Give that here, right now!” She demanded.

“No! Its mine!” Ginny whined, stepping back, and holding the piece down on her head protectively. “I’m sure I can undo this.”

“Ginny! You give that here right now or else!” Hermione snapped.

“Or else what?” Ginny said, before sticking her tongue out at Hermione.

Hermione frowned and crossed her arms. “Ok, you asked for it.” She then pointed to Fleur. “Fleur, sick her!” She said, gesturing to the large dog, as fleur nodded and launched herself at Ginny.

“You cheater!” Ginny squealed, running from the large dog that was now snapping at her skirt and trying to catch her. “You’re nothing but a know it all!” Ginny growled as Hermione leapt in front of her, trying to block her. “You cheater!”

“Give me the crown Ginny!” Hermione said, as she and Fleur slowly closed in on the panicking red head.

“No! Get out of my way!” Ginny snapped, as a third flash of light blinded everyone, only for Hermione to have vanished as well.

Hermione’s clothes plopped to the floor, landing and sliding down around a small and fluffy cat, with large golden eyes and brown fluffy fur. She blinked in surprise for a moment, before looking down to see she was standing in her clothing, her underwear over her brand new paws. She then glared up at Ginny and the fur on her tail puffed up and he arched her back angrily.

“Now you’re in trouble!” Hermione hissed, as Ginny squealed and bent over her.

“Awwww! What a cute kitty!” She said, patting Hermione on the head, only to be scratched suddenly by the fuming feline. “Ouch!”

“That’s what you get!” Hermione snapped, sitting back down atop her clothing. “Now… go find someone who can turn us back!” She ordered as Ginny rubbed the small scratch on her hand.

Ginny became indignant and then grinned with a touch of malice. “What I deserve huh? Well then you deserve this! Sick her girl!” She said, gesturing to Fleur.

Fleur tried to resist, struggling against her impulses, but to no avail. “S-Sorry Hermione…” She said, before lowering her head and lunging at Hermione.

“F-Fleur, stop!” Hermione cried, before hissing loudly, and bolting for a nearby table to climb under.

The room erupted into chaos as all three animals began to zigzag about, the dog chasing the cat, then the rabbit. Furniture was slammed over, barking and hissing rose up along with the banging and skittering of paws on the wooden floor. Ginny stood above it all, grinning and admiring that now she really was ranked above all her friends.

“I think I can get used to this.” She said, turning and examining herself in the mirror, adjusting the tiara, and then smirking. “Oh I look great!” She said, as the tiara suddenly flashed once more.

Ginny felt herself falling down, her clothes rising around her like massive curtains, bouncing once off the middle of her panties and then being buried under a waterfall of fabric. She found her way on all fours, crawling and squirming through warm clothing, waiting until she could escape into the fresh cool air outside her garments. Then she found herself free, crawling out from under her skirt, her hands tiny and pink… fingers tipped with small claws. She looked down to see a gray furry body, her legs short, her nose stretching out in front of her and a long pink tail stretching out behind her butt. She realized she was a mouse now, the tiara still resting above her atop her clothes, and her body the smallest of all the animals in the room.

“Wow… this is… bad.” The mouse said, as a large bunny, an angry cat, and a practically towering dog closed in around her.

“Sorry.” Hermione shrugged. “You’re on the bottom of the food chain after all.” She said, as all three pounced.
