The next day, Avery woke up in her room with Kate's phone in the mini drawer. She's picking up her phone and seeing the time on the phone. "08:40 AM already?" She's still half asleep, but she's really wanting to wake up. "Where's Kate?" Then she heard the sound of a car engine starting. She looked out the window, and apparently she saw Kate, who was busy repairing an old car. Then, Avery goes down from her bed and goes to the stairs. She's not having a fever, but her dizziness is still here. Excited to meet with Kate at the yard, she then opened the front door and walked through the tall grass. After a minute, she's been in the yard now. She called Kate, and Kate was looking back at her and waved at her. She then approached Kate with a smile on her face. "Avery, are you not having a fever again?" She's asked Avery. "I don't feel like I'm having a fever again, but I still feel the dizziness." She replied to her. "Okay. Just take a rest, Avery. I already informed your teacher that you'd take a rest at home." Avery is watching Kate do her work. She does nothing, only watching Kate do her work.
An hour later, Kate finally finished her work to repair the car. "Finally! I can take a rest now." She's picking up her phone and taking a photo of the old, rusty car. The car seems very old, but it's still work to drive it. "Kate, what are you going to do with that car? Why do you need to take a photo of it?" Avery asked Kate a question about the car. Then Kate replied, "Oh, it's for an old man living in the north. He's calling me for help, so I helped him to repair it." Kate still messaged the old man about the car that already got repaired. She then takes off her phone and takes it into her jacket pocket. Kate tries to test the car if it works or not, so she picks up the car key and drives it to the street repeatedly. "This is awesome! That man must be happy when he sees this!" Kate said while driving it. Avery is just sitting on a bench watching Kate driving the car.
After several hours of driving, Kate parked the car in front of the garage, then got out of the car and closed the car door while taking the car keys. Kate then walked over to Avery who was sitting on a bench.Kate then walks over to Avery and sits down next to her on the bench. She sees that Avery still looks a little tired and seems to be leaning on the bench. "You still look a little dizzy there, don't you?" Kate says, looking at Avery with concern. Avery nods a little bit, confirming that she is still feeling a little dizzy. "I'm not that dizzy, tho. I'm fine. I can take a rest if I want." Said Avery. "Okay, if you say so." Kate replied while spinning the car keys.
They're still sitting on a bench. But then Kate stands up and goes to the garage, and opens up a door that goes to the kitchen. There, she rummages through the tool box and pulls out a small medical kit. Inside the medical kit, Kate pulls out an infrared thermometer. She brings it over to Avery, who is still sitting on the bench. Kate points the infrared thermometer towards her forehead and measures her body temperature. The thermometer displays a reading of 102.6 degrees Fahrenheit, which is still quite high. "It's still quite high. So, you must take a rest at home for a long time. But I hope you'll be fine with the sickness. Because in a week or a month, I'll be in college. So, no one takes care of you." Kate takes off the thermometer on her forehead, and puts it back inside the medical kit.
"Well, you know. If I can take you to my college, maybe I can still look after you." Kate said to Avery. Kate is still worrying too much about her. she can't leave her alone at home. She's planning to take Avery to her college without getting noticed by any people there.
